We are thrilled that popular UK trend agency Scarlet Opus will be returning to Decor + Design in 2024! After a five year absence from Australian shores, Victoria Redshaw’s highly anticipated return will arm visitors with the trend intelligence they need to navigate the shifting landscape of interior design and furniture.

Head Futurist of Scarlet Opus, Victoria has always been a firm visitor favourite, delivering a highly prescient Major Design Trends Forecast at six past editions of Australia’s No.1 Interiors Trade Event.

Victoria will once again be unveiling her full predictions for the coming year on Day One of the 2024 show, Wednesday 17th July.

While the full trend forecast will be under wraps until the show, Scarlet Opus will be providing insights in the lead up to the show, so make sure you’re subscribed to our newsletter for valuable international trend intelligence.

“I’m genuinely very excited to be returning to Decor + Design again,” says Victoria. “It is my goal to pack as much trend information into the seminar session as is possible; details of what’s driving the trends, consumer sentiment, key colours, shapes, pattern, materials, styles…I’ll get into the detail of it all!

Our trend predictions for 2025 will provide valuable guidance for the year ahead and I can’t wait to share them with visitors.”

With the theme of Evolution, the 20th anniversary edition of Decor + Design will take place at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, 17 – 19 July 2024.

It will celebrate 20 years with the return of iconic design companies that have earned a loyal following around Australia, including GlobeWest, Uniqwa and Satara. It will also feature exceptional brands, and a new co-located Green Design Show that reflects the paradigm shift.

The show will give interior designers, decorators, architects, retail chains and commercial buyers a platform to source the latest in indoor and outdoor furniture, soft furnishings, lighting, textiles, art and more. Don’t miss Australia’s No.1 Interiors Trade Event in 2024.
