Classic Furnishings Australia is recognised as one of the finest designer manufacturers of custom-made upholstered furniture in the country. So, we’re naturally delighted that they will be exhibiting at the 18th edition of Decor + Design and the Australian International Furniture Fair!

Australia’s No.1 Trade Event will be back at Melbourne Exhibition Centre from 15 – 18 July 2021. It’s going to be an important opportunity for the design industry to gather after the past year; not only to network but to touch and feel the latest products.

Classic Furnishings will be releasing their new ‘Moments’ collection at the show; 16 new products which have been specially designed to celebrate their 16 years in business.

Founded in 2004 by Stephen and Angela Potter, the Melbourne-based brand’s relentless pursuit of excellence can be seen in the exceptional quality of their furniture.

Steve is a British Master Craftsman with over 32 years’ experience, which is reflected in the extraordinary attention to detail which goes into each piece. Their products forge the perfect blend of timeless style, comfort and durability.

Every one of Classic Furnishings’ handcrafted designs are 100% Australian made; an approach which is aligned with current market demand.

“With the fallout from the global pandemic, we’ve seen a huge increase in requests from our clients for Australian made products,” says Steve. “This has brought much needed local support to our communities, which has been amazing.”

Classic Furnishings also has a dedicated Interior Design Service; available to clients on a retainer basis. It is headed up by Angela Potter, who has an innate flair and a background in interior design. The service specialises not only in interior design but in renovation and restoration, helping clients create a unique and timeless interior.

We can’t wait to see the new ‘Moments’ collection in July, with a new design for each of the 16 years they’ve been in business.

“Without giving away too much, the latest collection is bright, bold, beautiful and sumptuous. It’s been designed and created specifically for the high-end market sector. We’re excited to release it at Decor + Design in July!”

“As with all the products we design and create, you will not see any of our products in retail stores. We are proud to be Australian made and our brand is exclusive, so we are suited to clients who want special, timeless pieces.”

Decor + Design and the Australian International Furniture Fair will run from 15 – 18 July at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Entry to the exhibition is free but limited to trade visitors. Tickets to the Australian House & Garden Seminar Series range from $55 – $65.
