Look to the stars. From 16th – 18th July 2025, Decor + Design will be tapping into all the creativity in the cosmos of design, with the theme of Elements.
Australia’s premier interior design trade event celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2024 with Evolution, introducing a new Green Design Show which showcased the best in transparent Australian sustainable design, in partnership with the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and Circular Design Thinking (CDT). 9,000+ visitors were inspired by industry leaders, as well as a mix of heritage and emerging brands that presented a 360-degree view of the Australian design industry.
Cosmos, Creation and Connection
In 2025, we’ll come of age and celebrate our 21st birthday with Elements. Decor + Design ‘25 will feature beautiful and immersive elements which draw on the zeitgeist of international and local design trends.
Cosmos
The show will unpack inspirational elements of the cosmos, including light, earth, air and celestial inspiration. Incorporating international ideas around science, magic and technology, Elements will continue to cement Decor + Design as Australia’s premier interior design trade event.
Creation
Over three days at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, our platform will give 200+ brands the opportunity to express their creativity across indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, soft furnishings, textiles, art and more. Watch out for stunning Design & Architectural installations, including a brand new Seminar Theatre inspired by organic forms.
Connection
In the words of Phillipe Starck, ‘design is a tool to help the tribe.’ The only event of its kind in Australia, the acclaimed Green Design Show will return to introduce you to the very best in pioneering sustainable brands.
We will also connect the next generation at VIVID Emerging Designer Awards, Australia’s longest running design competition.
A chic meeting place for savvy designers, the Champagne Lounge will get a new look to reflect the 2025 theme, while the prestigious International Seminar Series will once again give you the opportunity to meet interior design stars from at home and afar.
Introducing Our 2025 Colour Palette 
Tapping into international colour trends, our 2025 colour palette reflects the rich jewel tones and purples seen in Paris and Milan.
Ripe Rhubarb: For Decor + Design’s hero hue, we’ve chosen Ripe Rhubarb from our colour partner Dulux’s 2025 Emerge palette. This gorgeous reddish-purple will anchor the show, providing depth and beauty.
Hidden Depths: Carrying over from its inaugural edition, the Green Design Show will again be accented by Dulux’s thoughtful ‘Hidden Depths’ green.
Hubba Bubba Purple: To accent the above, we’ve devised a colour of our own, a playful purple inspired by the colour palette at Maison & Objet in Paris.
