We are delighted to announce that enchanting brand Maison Balzac will be exhibiting at Decor + Design Melbourne in 2026, as a cornerstone of the new feature DESIGNER DISTRICT. This will be a beautifully curated area of VIP designers that visitors love to see. Maison Balzac will be surrounded by collections from sought-after designers including Kate Nixon, Darren Palmer and Tigger Hall.

Maison Balzac is an expression of pure imagination through the creation of decorative and scented objects.
Out of curiosity for memories and play, Maison Balzac’s collection of perfumed candles is a series of responses to art, nature, time, place and emotion.

Decorative objects are unexpected and unforgettable. Reverie-like, they seem to take on a life of their own, with jewel-toned glassware, ceramic and marble artefacts for sensory rituals. Since its debut, Maison Balzac’s collections have held a place on the shelves of the world’s leading boutiques and department stores.

Founded by Elise Pioch Balzac in Sydney in 2012, Maison Balzac began with a collection of perfumed candles, each one designed to recreate a moment in Elise’s childhood in the South of France.

Having started her career at Hermès in Paris under Martin Margiela’s artistic direction, then as a fashion buyer in Australia for multi-brand boutiques Belinda and The Corner Shop. With a unique style and a sensibility acquired from working in the fashion industry in both Paris and Sydney, Elise now invents a range of decorative and perfumed objects for everyday enchantment, translating inspiration from her childhood in France and also the surreal movement from the 1920’s across fashion, music, art and literature.

Today Maison Balzac work with artisans and perfumers in France, Japan, China and Australia and continue to make new objects to enchant the everyday.
