These people-centric fabrics embrace technical innovations to blend quality design with high performance properties. Enhancing everyday life and healthy living spaces, Zepel celebrate enduring and accessible textile designs that define functional elegance and stand up to the rigours of high-traffic interiors.
Versatile, Sustainable Fabrics
Designed in Australia and Europe, Zepel collaborate with numerous mills to deliver the best in furnishings including upholstery, drapery, and wallcoverings, for residential and commercial markets. Their strategic partnership with Bru Textiles in Belgium provides additional technical expertise, innovative fabric qualities, and unsurpassed performance standards to the range.
Within their high-performance offering are easy-clean with inherent stain resistance; luxuriously soft yet durable commercial with anti-microbial properties for high-traffic spaces; fire retardant that combat the spread of flames; and colourfast designed for areas exposed to the elements, such as the outdoors and light-filled interiors. Their expansive range offers ultimate peace of mind and ensures longevity.
With a sustainability at their heart, Zepel constantly try to improve their carbon footprint. In recent years they have made a major change to their infrastructure in order to utilise sea freight instead of air. They also work with mills and fabric suppliers that adhere to the highest possible environmental criteria. As a result, Zepel’s own certifications include:
Eco Label:Products achieving the Eco-Friendly Fabric Standard contain at least 50% recycled or organic content, or a combination of both and are certified to Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex® & ISO 14001.
Global Recycled Standard:Products certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) contain recycled polyester that has been independently verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source/recycler to the final product.
ISO 14001:ISO 14001 certified organisations control and improve their environmental management performance and impact by manufacturing products which meet their evolving environmental objectives.
Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex ®:Products certified Oeko-Tex® undergo rigorous testing to ensure that textile production processes are free from chemicals which may harm humans, animals, and the environment.
