Wood is a beautiful material for its sustainable qualities and gorgeous, warming aesthetic. Here are three pieces of furniture that elevate wood from our Decor + Design 2023 exhibitors…
Baltic Chair – M + Co Living
An ode to warm Nordic minimalism, the Baltic Chair by M + Co Living is designed to harmonize with contemporary life. Elegant and compact, with a clean, solid wood frame, it imparts a feeling of calm and lightness. Its curved arms join at the back to create a sculptural form that can be admired from every angle, with chamfered edges for a supremely touchable finish. We love both the Canyon Whisky Leather/ Walnut (top image) and the Ash/Velvet Russet (above).
Vessel Table – Timber Technik
Timber Technik’s designs are inspired by owner Vaughan’s previous life as a shipwright. A ship’s hull has a certain beauty in its curves and symmetry, contrasting against its necessary dependability when out at sea.
This dining piece also contains those simultaneous qualities of beauty and dependability, giving you a dining table that you know will last for generations, while also bringing a unique piece of functional art into your home.
Reclaimed Wood & Copper Coffee Table – Calibre Furniture
Based on simple, unique, and modern design aesthetics, Calibre Furniture brings quality and new design to the table made for Australian interiors.
We love this coffee table, juxtaposed against a golden copper iron frame. The timber used in this range from Calibre is reclaimed elm timber.
